 Hello! Tom started Agassiz Electric, LLC in July of 2021. This was not his first venture into business. He owned and operated TW Electric from 2004-2013 in Alexandria, MN, but then he and his family closed up that shop and moved to the Fargo/Moorhead area in 2013.

    After working for other shops in the area, Tom's desire to serve the greater F/M area was too great to ignore, so here we are. The F/M area lives and builds dreams on the lake bed of Lake Agassiz, which once stretched from Canada to South Dakota. The name Agassiz Electric comes from the legacy this lake has left behind. Something left behind that helped provide the ability to build a great community. 

     Tom started his electrical career here in the F/M area in 1994. He went to work in underground electrical. From his beginnings in street lights to runway lights, Tom also gained experience in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural electrical through the years. He obtained his Journeyman's license in the late 90s and his Master's license in 2004. He has made it his business to learn all that he can about these various forms of electrical and strives to provide the knowledge and service he would like for himself in a situation in which he would need assistance.  

     We are a small shop and, currently, our two sons are working by our side as apprentices. We look forward to helping the F/M area and beyond with their electrical needs!
